WITNESS. The App.

A product concept I designed after a series of workshops with Pentagram’s Harry Pearce.

“WITNESS. The App.” was ceated to raise awareness of our human rights and also serve as an international platform for people to record and share incidences of human rights abuse. 

The unique feature, ‘secure mode’ allows “Witness. The App.” to automatically start embedding and recording metadata whilst recording footage. This verifies location and time and proves the footage is genuine.

In addition, users can view trending stories online locally and worldwide. Following trends helps us to understand human rights on a global scale and realise the abuse of human rights not only abroad, but also those which occur on our doorsteps.
